Community, connection and culture – these are the three pillars of The BLOK.

Considered community – in creating a space for people to engage and interact in the moment.

Considered connection – in the sharing of insights and talents to forge bonds between the creator and the audience.

Considered culture – in the participation of events and workshops that celebrate differences while honoring the common ties that make us human.

The Spring edition of The BLOK seeks to renew these values, coinciding with the arrival of warmer, positive days ahead. We look forward to welcoming you.

Until then, take a tour through a recap of our Winter 2019 edition:

Through vibrant colours, artist Cyndie Belhumeur aims to fill the void between virtual and physical worlds, resulting in pieces whose geometric and organic shapes come alive before our very eyes. For The BLOK, she created a mural in contrasting shapes, colours, patterns and textures – inspiring anyone who lays an eye on it to take a state of reflection.

Find her latest exposition, Datacentrisme, from March 14th to April 4th at Galerie les trois C in Montreal.
