On Friday, December 4th, Breakout opened its doors at the Quartier DIX30 in Brossard. Come and escape at Breakout, the first surreal escape game to settle on the south shore of Montreal. The co-owners, Carlee Hamer and Tobie Savard decided to embark on this adventure after more than 8 months traveling the world. This couple had the opportunity to play escape games in Malaysia, Singapore, Romania and Indonesia which allowed them to learn from some of the very best games in the world.

What is a surreal escape game? It’s a team building adventure lasting 45 minutes where the goal is to escape the room before your time runs out. Locked in a thematic room with your teammates you must resolve enigmas, complete puzzles, uncover clues and decipher codes. Communication, analysis and observation are key! It is a unique experience for the whole family, amongst friends, or with co-workers.

2 to 8 players per game can select from 3 different scenarios, varying in levels of difficulty. Enjoy a moment of pure pleasure where smart phones and tablets are put aside as you put your brain to work.

The Breakout Dix30 franchise is the most current model of escape rooms available straight from Asia. It offers the Quebec public quality games in an upscale environment and a friendly atmosphere. The expertise obtained in Asia allows Breakout to offer a complete experience and a higher level of play. Guests also have the possibility of renting the Breakout mystery room to debrief following the game or to host parties, anniversaries, birthdays, bachelorettes, or other special occasions. Moreover, being located in Quartier Dix30, participants will benefit from free parking and can choose from numerous restaurants and bars nearby.
